Desert Rose Villa

We are pleased to announce that we are now accepting reservations for Desert Rose Villa starting November 1, 2006. This fantastic villa is indeed unique villa, built entirely with polished natural Anguilla rock on the exterior and a fossilized coral wall in the master bedroom and in living room. Desert Rose Estate is on 4 acres of cliffside land on the northeast coastline of Anguilla. Panoramic views of the Atlantic from every room and from the large veranda extending across the length of the villa. The villa is comprised of 3 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, living room, dining room and kitchen, office/media room and 2 car garage. An infinity edge pool and cushion surface tennis court complete the Estate. Tumble marble tiles are used outside on the veranda and polished Italian marble tiles are used throughout the interior of the villa and in the bathrooms.

When entering the villa from the foyer you are immediately struck by the breathtaking ocean view . The living room which opens to the veranda features a wall of glass so you do not miss a bit of the fantastic view. Sumptuous leather seating around the gas fireplace with the cool Caribbean tradewinds ensure you a relaxing evening as you sip snifter of aged mellow Anguilla rum. The attention to detail is extraordinary in Desert Rose with the focus on comfort and convenience for all guests. Each bedroom is ensuite with custom made sold mahogany furniture, air conditioning, flat screen TVs and Molton Brown bathroom amenities. Luxurious high thread count luxury sheets combined with the sound of the waves breaking against the rocky shoreline guarantee a perfect night’s sleep.

The Master Bedroom features a private deck, thick bathrobes, custom made mahogany king size bed and very large master bath with Jacuzzi and two walk-in closets. A 32” Sony Bravia television with DVD player keeps you up to date on the news back home and entertained while relaxing. A Bose Wave radio/CD player is provided for your listening pleasure. The 2 guest bedrooms are also ensuite and feature solid mahogany furniture with king size beds, luxury linens and amenities, air conditioning and 26” Sharp Aqua televisions. Bose sound systems with radio/CD are in each of these bedrooms also.

The spacious dream kitchen features rare blue marble countertops with GE Monogram stainless steel appliances including a commercial style stainless steel refrigerator and separate stainless steel freezer, trash compactor, icemaker, dishwasher and wine cooler, gas Cooktop stove and electric wall ovens. Of course all the small appliances are provided including Cuisinart coffeemaker with grinder, food processor, juicer, toaster, blender, and Trivection microwave. You can choose from two sets of dishware as well as plasticware for pool side dining. A wall of glass shelves showcase the extensive inventory of sparkling glassware. The dining room is adjacent to the kitchen and features a stunning custom made mahogany and glass dining table with rock base that seats 8. Dining while enjoying the ever changing ocean views is truly an event at Desert Rose Villa.

The office/media room features a 42” Sony Bravia Television, Bose stereo, air conditioning, and Mac computer with wireless high speed internet service and a sofa bed couch that pulls out into a queen size bed. All the comforts and conveniences of home are included in this family room. The veranda which spans the length of the villa features tumbled marble tile with an infinity edge pool and Brown & Jordan outdoor furniture. Pool floats are also provided. The perfect place to spend the afternoon sunbathing, swimming or reading as you enjoy the sounds of the seagulls and breaking waves on shore.

Services included in the rates for Desert Rose include daily maid service, continental breakrast, linen change daily, and twice weekly pool service. Meet and greet service upon arrival with basic kitchen provisions and full concierge service is available by the property’s rental agent. Optional services include butler service, private chef, massage and spa treatments in the villa, rental car and restaurant reservations, and assistance with boat charters, horseback riding or swimming with the dolphins. A special added amenity for guests of Desert Rose is the inclusion of one day at the private island, Scilly Cay with boat and driver provided to take you from the pier in Island Harbour to the dock on Scilly Cay and back at your convenience. The trip is a three minute boat ride. (Available for use on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday only). In addition on Wednesday, Friday or Sunday guests of Desert Rose may enjoy complimentary lunch at Scilly Cay.
