Aujourd' Hui

Aujourd’hui is a delightful two-storey house in a very quiet location, on the exclusive west coast of Barbados set in 1.3 acres of beautifully landscaped, tranquil gardens within 100 yards of the beach via the beach path with private right of way.

From the entrance hall, to the left, is the large lounge which opens on to a dining patio and lawn. To the right of the entrance hall is the spacious living room which leads on to the dining room with seating for ten people and the covered sitting terraces. Also accessed from the dining room are the kitchen and other service areas.

The coral stone staircase leads up to the three large air conditioned double bedrooms, each with bathroom ensuite and spacious wardrobe facilities.

The house has been recently refurbished and is beautifully appointed and furnished with many fine antiques and paintings. All rooms are fitted with ceiling fans and the house is fully staffed with cook, maid, laundress and gardener. A night-watchman is available by arrangement.

The lush secluded gardens contain a very large, beautifully designed swimming pool, sunbathing terrace and barbecue area. There are wide steps leading down into the pool, which has built I seating areas and a cascading waterfall.
